Of course of I've come across the name and listened to the well-respected works of Mark Templeton for years, yet for some reason never fully connected with them. Enter 'Ocean Front Property', something about this album, the rumbling, soft-edged production, the plump, meaty basslines, the subtle off-world tropical moods... all come together perfectly. I think Templeton's visions have finally clicked for me, look forward to revisiting his back-catalog with this new found appreciation.
